Percentage by which, on average, the share of Italian enterpreneurs and top managers that have attended cultural events in 2010 was greater than the share of blue-collar workers (click to enlarge)
I’m sure this comes as no surprise. Note that we’re talking shares here, and blue-collar workers are still more than twice enterpreneurs and top managers, and in absolute terms (which may be important to a performer), you’ll still find more blue-collars than managers at the cinema, the stadium or at a pop music concert. But if you’re a top manager, you’re more likely to enjoy all of these, with the sole exception of the disco – where the share are almost equal. This has to do with managers having more disposable income in terms of money, spare time and access – but do we think this is right? It’s culture, after all. Do managers deserve more of it?
